"WEATHER AFFECTS US EVERYDAY, NO MATTER WHERE WE ARE.
WHEN THE WEATHER BECOMES SEVERE, IT'S IMPORTANT THAT PUBLIC IS AWARE OF THE SITUATION SO THEY CAN PREPARE APPROPRIATELY. I THINK IT IS IMPORTANT TO GIVE TO YOUR COMMUNITY AND PROVIDING THE MOST ACCURATE AND UP-TO-DATE WEATHER INFORMATION IS JUST ONE THING I CAN DO TO HELP."
A climate and weather enthusiast and self-proclaimed "weather geek" since my early years, I'm Meteorologist and Weather Blogger located in Metro Atlanta and central Georgia.
In addition to being a weekend meteorologist for 13WMAZ (July 2014-present) and weather producer with CNN, I keep the community up-to-date on weather as it happens through my use of social media and I study and write about severe weather and global climate trends for EarthSky.org.
In addition to broadcast meteorology I'm constantly looking for opportunities in radio, blogging and social media. I am also available for speaking engagements and as an expert resource on the topics of forecasting, global climate trends, and the role of social media in meteorology.
